Thank God for this gift too wonderful for words!
2 Corinthians 9:15 NLT
It’s been seven years since our last trip to Australia. I feel incredibly blessed to have this opportunity to spend time with our son, daughter-in-love, and grandchildren. It is truly a gift too wonderful for words.
I found a vintage book to use as a scrapbook and journal so I can jot down what I’m grateful for each day.
We are here for our granddaughter’s 10th birthday. We’ve had 10 years of celebrating her life through videos and photographs. Finally, after all these years, we are here to share the joy in person.
Too Wonderful for Words
I love seeing my child parent his children, delighting in their laughter, and cherishing their presence. I know the days with little ones are numbered. So it’s important to note the memories, take pictures, and pray with gratitude. The ordinary becomes extraordinary with gratitude. What can you think of that is difficult to put in words?
As we draw closer to celebrating the Resurrection of our Lord it’s appropriate to rejoice and give thanks. Let us give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done. Psalms 105:1 NLT
How do we proclaim His greatness and thank Him for all He’s done? We write it down, we sing it from the heart, and we tell others of His goodness. Through our proclamations, He is lifted high for all to see. Through our songs, He is glorified. And through our testimonies His deeds are remembered.
May we take the time this holiday season to be grateful. Let’s write short notes expressing as best we can, our thankful hearts. This action will bless the Lord and remind others of what He can do. Whether your list is written in a journal, a notebook, or on your phone, it all counts.
*For those of you who prayer walk, ponder the word ‘wonderful’ and make note of your feelings surrounding that word.
